Them's fighting words

So, I'm up late and find some folks on WeeSeeYou.com have decided to call my husband a jackass and a stupid MF because of a critical piece he wrote for TheLoop21.com

Ladies ('cause it appears that's what they are mostly), them's fighting words!

Seriously, though, it seems that you cannot critique President Obama without someone wanting to banish you from the African American race.

I, of course, commented only for someone to virtually slap me down, and that person got a virtual hi-five for doing so.

I suggested that they read the whole piece and that Roland's point is the goal for one day President Obama's birthday be a national holiday! Some named "Miranda" responded:

No sweetie, that wasn't the "goal"...........being agent provocateurs is the "goal".....wee peeped the game of these blackety black "we holding the president accountable!" crabs, which includes your husband, a LONG time ago.

Whateva.

I guess the Blogosphere is not the place for rationale discussion.

I'll consider writing more on this later.

  1. Well I see you have been 'christen' by weeseenothin...those snidechickenlittleknownothinwannabe's at that site
are nothing but misfits, cretins and morons!

They do not ever have intelligent dialogue. Don't know what critical thinking is; they thinking reading is all about phonetics and devoid of comprehension.

See, they never progressed beyond calling folks names. They believe that disrespect, condescension and disdain is a substitute for a substantive argument.

It isn't....preschoolers is what they are on the world stage...showing everybody and their momma they not potty trained and still need teething rings!!

  2. Well snuggles tell me how you really feel!Seriously, I did try to later engage in a serious dialogue with them (outside of the posts defending my husband), but it is an enormous amount of work with folks whose first instinct is for name calling. Additionally, any time you start out with insults, as they do, you're trying to appeal to the emotions, not to the intellect.

To be fair, they do seem to be able to have intelligent discussions within the members of the WeeSeeYou club within which they also tolerate disagreement but ultimately I just decided to let them have their own club.
